Dr. Nicola Kimm is the Global Head of Sustainability, Environment, Health & Safety for Signify. In this role she has led the company to its leadership position in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for 3 consecutive years. Passionate about driving sustainability in all aspects of the business, she leads an organization of professionals at global, regional and site levels. Through its Brighter Lives, Better World program, Signify is working toward ambitious goals on sustainable revenues and sustainable operations, such as carbon neutrality and zero waste to landfill in 2020. Previously, Nicola has held international and multi-disciplinary roles in engineering, operations, communications and sustainability in Europe, Asia, and the US in industries such as electronics, chemicals and foods. Nicola holds a PhD in Economics and Business Engineering, MSc and BSc degrees in Chemical Engineering, and a BSc in Ecology.
