Renewable vs. Traditional Energy: How to Ensure the Transition to a Low-Carbon Global Economy?

With the world population continually growing, traditional energy is becoming unable to meet increasing energy demand while guaranteeing a sustainable future. In part, this is because of its environmental impact linked to climate change, global warming and growing pollution. To meet energy demand and mitigate the effect of greenhouse gases, renewable energy is a serious alternative. But replacing traditional energy with renewable energy is not an instantaneous process, and increasing the efficiency of non-renewable energy and integrating it with renewable sources might offer better solutions to a low-carbon future.
