UK Minister of State for Business, Energy and Clean Growth

The Rt Hon Anne-Marie Trevelyan MP was appointed as Minister of State for Business, Energy and Clean Growth at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy on 8 January 2021. Anne-Marie is also currently the UK's International Champion on Adaptation and Resilience for the COP26 Presidency.

A chartered accountant by trade, Anne-Marie sat on the House of Commons’ Public Accounts Committee, and has previously served as Secretary of State for International Development, Minister of State for the Armed Forces and Minister for Defence Procurement.

In October 2020, the Government of the United Kingdom announced an ambitious plan for a Green Industrial Revolution that is set to support clean energy, transport, nature and innovative technologies, and to help fight climate change in the upcoming decades.
