Dr Katerina Garyfalou has over 15-year experience in the Energy sector. Her continuous personal development journey has enabled her to advance her career rapidly and complete two career transitions. The first transition from solely technical roles to leadership and commercial positions that require coordination and negotiations of high-profile strategic projects in the Upstream sector of the Oil & Gas Exploration industry. In her career in the Oil & Gas, she has held senior roles as Exploration Manager, Strategy and Portfolio Europe/Africa Manager, Business Development Advisor with the majority of her career spent with CNOOC International. The second most recent career transition was from the Oil & Gas industry to Renewables and Tech Industry, where she currently is the Commercial & Business Development Director of Clean Planet Energy.
Overall, she's been developed to a versatile, highly skilled and commercially focused professional with passion about business strategy in constant pursuit of additional knowledge and opportunity.
