DAVOS ENERGY WEEK GLOBAL ONLINE EVENT TAKES PLACE JANUARY 19-21, 2021

Davos, Switzerland, 17.00 CET. CFC Big Ideas, an international communications consultancy, is running Davos Energy Week on January 19–21, 2021. This three-day online event will be anchored from Davos, Switzerland, bringing together more than 100 key energy players to share economic and business insights into the outlook for a global sustainable energy future.

Among headline speakers of the event are energy ministers from six European countries: The Right Honorable Kwasi Kwarteng, Minister of State at the Department of Business, Energy and Clean Growth, the UK; Claude Turmes, Minister for Energy and Spatial Planning, Luxembourg; Eamon Ryan, Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications, Ireland; Tinne Van der Straeten, Federal Minister of Energy, Belgium; Tina Bru, Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Norway; Leonore Gewessler, Minister of Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation, and Technology, Austria.

UK’s recently announced Green Industrial Revolution, the US’s highly anticipated policy shift towards green energy, and a collective effort of major EU countries to accelerate energy transition will be the main focus of this year’s Davos Energy Week, which aims to provide a platform for top managers of energy companies, sustainability officers, activists, consultants, and international experts to share their views on a wide range of urgent energy issues and to chart a path for sustainable energy future through common solutions and joint effort.

Among speakers and panelists from market leaders are representatives of the largest global companies (Intel, Nestle, Honeywell, Novo Nordisk), energy companies (Shell, BP, ReNew Power), the world’s biggest banks (Commerzbank, JPMorgan Chase, Standard Bank Group, TD Bank Group), and the major consultancies (Deloitte, KPMG, Kearney, Capgemini, Accenture).
